Blue Spirulina Lemonade

A vibrant and refreshing blue spirulina lemonade, perfect for hydration and reducing calorie intake, ideal for weight loss routines.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
  • 2 cups cold water or chilled green tea
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons low-calorie sweetener (erythritol, stevia, or monk fruit)
  • Ice
  • Optional: fresh mint or cucumber slices
  • Pinch of sea salt or electrolyte powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lemon base by squeezing fresh lemon juice into a pitcher and removing seeds.
  2. Dissolve the sweetener in warm water and stir until combined.
  3. Add blue spirulina powder to the lemon-sweetener mix and whisk until evenly colored.
  4. Combine with cold water or green tea, stirring until uniform.
  5. Adjust sweetness and serve over ice, garnished with mint or cucumber if desired.
  6. Batch up to four servings in a sealed container for storage in the refrigerator.

Notes

Start with a lower amount of spirulina and adjust as desired. Use filtered water for best taste.
