Honey and Olive Oil Mix

A simple home remedy combining raw honey and extra virgin olive oil to support weight loss and curb appetite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons warm water (optional)
  • a few drops fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm 2 to 3 tablespoons of water in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds, ensuring it’s barely warm.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey into a small cup and pour the warm water over it, stirring until fully dissolved.
  3. Slowly add 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil while whisking the honey-water mixture until a silky emulsion forms.
  4. Add optional lemon juice or cinnamon and stir gently to combine.
  5. Sip the mixture immediately, ideally within 2 to 5 minutes, or let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to enjoy at room temperature.

Notes

For a low-calorie version, use honey diluted in more warm water and omit the oil or replace it with water-soluble MCT powder.
