Pink Gelatin Recipe for Weight Loss

A simple and adaptable snack combining flavored gelatin with added protein for a low-calorie treat that helps curb cravings.

  • 1 packet of gelatin powder or unflavored gelatin
  • 1 packet of sugar-free pink flavored mix or diluted natural juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of unflavored collagen or protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cold water or diluted juice
  • Fresh berries or pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure and bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 1/4 cup cold water and letting it sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Dissolve the gelatin by heating 1/2 cup hot water to about 60 to 70 degrees Celsius and pouring it over the bloomed gelatin.
  3. Add the sugar-free pink flavored mix and protein powder, stirring until smooth.
  4. Combine the mixture with 1 cup cold water or diluted juice, ensuring the color is a pleasant pale pink.
  5. Pour the mixture into a mold or shallow dish.
  6. Chill until firm, which may take 1.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Serve chilled, optionally topped with berries.

Notes

This snack can be easily customized with different flavors and is portable for on-the-go enjoyment. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
