Simple Canaan Honey Drink

A warm and soothing beverage made from honey, lemon juice, and mild spices, perfect for supporting weight loss efforts.

  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup warm water (about 120 to 140 F)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 fresh ginger slice (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon gelatin or pectin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water to about 120 to 140 F, ensuring it feels warm to the touch.
  2. Squeeze half a fresh lemon into a mug and remove seeds.
  3. Add one tablespoon of raw honey to the warm water and lemon, stirring until dissolved.
  4. If desired, add a pinch of ground cinnamon or a fresh ginger slice; let infuse for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Cool the drink slightly for 1 to 2 minutes before sipping.
  6. If using gelatin or pectin, bloom in cold water first, then stir into the warm drink until dissolved.

Notes
