Turmeric Tea

A warm, comforting beverage made from turmeric known for its health benefits, especially in aiding weight loss.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Honey to taste (optional)
  • Lemon juice to taste (optional)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients: turmeric powder, ginger, cinnamon, honey, and lemon, if using.
  2. Prepare the base by heating 1 cup of water in a small saucepan until it simmers (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add turmeric powder and optionally grated ginger to the water.
  4. Add a pinch of cinnamon for flavor.
  5. Simmer for another 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a cup.
  7. Add honey and lemon juice to taste, and enjoy your warm beverage.

Notes

Drink a cup in the morning to kickstart metabolism or at night to aid digestion.
